'Takina Wilson founded Castlebridge Wine Company in May 2021 with a vision rooted in authenticity, craftsmanship, and representation. As a Black woman entrepreneur and wine enthusiast, Takina was inspired to create a brand that not only produces premium wines but also challenges the lack of diversity in the wine world. Her journey began with curiosity and research into winemaking, which quickly evolved into hands-on experience and a deep appreciation for the art and science behind every bottle.
Castlebridge wines are crafted with meticulous attention to detail, using sustainably sourced grapes from family-owned vineyards in California. Takina’s philosophy emphasizes honoring the terroir and grape variety while embracing innovation and inclusivity. Each vintage reflects her dedication to quality and her desire to share the joy of wine with a broader, more diverse audience.
